Manila, Philippines – Cosco has recently received a Golden Arrow Award in the recently conducted ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) Award for 2022 by the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD).

ICD’s ACGS Award assesses company performance in five categories: promoting shareholder rights, how companies treat their stakeholders, transparency and disclosure, how their board strategically steers their company, and the responsibility of their boards.

The ACGS was created with the support of the Asian Development Bank, the ASEAN Capital Markets Forum, and CG experts from the six ASEAN members who participated.

In the regional assessment, only 85 out of 260 locally listed publicly traded enterprises received at least 80 points.
